Question: How do refrigerator/appliance pulls mount? Answer: They mount just like a piece of cabinet hardware. The screws, which we provide with all orders are designed to screw in from the back of the panel you use . The installer drills two holes in the panel, attaches the pull and then installs the screws from the inside of panel on door.
Question: Do longer pulls make it easier to open a door? Answer: Yes, the longer the pull, the more leverage, therefore ease of opening. We recommend at least 18" on refrigerators and front doors.
Question: Do you make hardware for kitchen cabinets as well? Answer: Yes , in some cases. We now offer a few collections that are available from about 5" long to over 24". The # 810 series and the #54 bamboo are two. More collections will be available shortly. Remember, our pulls are designed to be distinctive , and complimentary cabinet knobs can always be found to work with our pulls. In addition, we can finish match our pulls to match any other companies.
Question: I have a company logo and would like a pull to match it, can you do it? Answer: Yes, we have computers and machines to copy logos and have them cut onto brass, aluminum, stainless steel, acrylic, wood and more. They can be done in finishes or acrylic colors. Most are 1-2 dimensional, but we now can mold designs 3-D , made from composites. Just call to inquire.
Questions: How are pulls attached ( mounted)? Answer: All pulls are mounted ( attached) generally three ways. Through bolted, which is with a screw from the back of door into pull on the other side. Surface mounted, which is attached to the outside of door only, no screw exposed on the inside of door ( hanger bolt). Back to Back, which is pulls on both sides of door married together for maximum security, and generally, no screws exposed.
Question: Do you stock any of this product? Answer: Yes we do. We tend to stock many of our series in tthe most popular finishes such as satin nickel, antique brass and oil rubbed bronze. we now stock #833, # 810, #1229, #826, #8301,many acrylic pulls and all accessories. Question: I have a piece of artwork that is quite deep, probably 6" off the wall. I need a wall stop that's longer than that to have the door hit before the art. Can you help.? Answer: We have many parts in stock to create wall stops to help you. We have bar and tube that is smooth, rope and reeded and we can make them with a bumper in lengthd to 10".
Question: My shower door handle just broke. Can you help? Answer: Yes, we stock many and we can make any pull fit your existing holes. We also stock pulls for 6" and 8".
Question: I have a particular finish I want to match, can you match it? Answer: We offer fifty finishes now. We have been able to match 99% of our customers demands. Please send a sample , we"ll match it.
Question: What are the most durable finishes? Answer: There are a few choices. Stainless steel does extremely well in all environments and we offer many pull choices. Powdercoating finishes such as our durobronze and matte black are baked on and extremely durable and they are available on all of our hardware. PVD ( physical vapor deposition) is a vacuum process that puts a ceramic like surface on hardware and is very durable. ( available on our model# 833 only and all of our bath accessories).This finish comes in a brass color and satin nickel color
Question: You have a lot of handles throughout this site, can I use them in different places such as a door pull on a shower door etc? Answer: Thats a good question. All of our pulls in any category are designed to work on all types of doors. When we find out what you're using it for, we adjust the mounting and assembly to work for that function. The letters before the numbers ( i.e. CF ) tell us what function you want. We also ask lots of questions.
